Crown & Coin

Buy land, build markets, raise armies and conquer the archipelago.

Gather the houses

Win by wiping out every rival, or by holding 3 complete regions at the start of your turn.

How to play

Income: each turn you collect gold from your lands. Owning a whole region doubles those lands' base income. Markets add +2 per level, your capital adds +3. Upkeep costs 1 gold per 5 armies.
Fortune: a random event card is drawn at the start of every turn.
Buy: neutral lands next to yours can be bought outright. The price is shown on the land.
Recruit: 3 gold per army, placed on any land you own.
Build: markets (2 levels) raise income. A fort adds +1 to the defender's best die. Capitals start fortified.
Attack: select your land (2+ armies), then a land outlined in red. You roll up to 3 dice and the defender rolls up to 2. Highest dice are compared and ties go to the defender.
Plunder: captured markets become yours. Taking a capital steals a third of its owner's gold. Wiping out a house takes all of its gold.
Move: 3 troop moves per turn between neighbouring lands you own (outlined in blue).
