The Rent Is Due in Onion City (and You Should Probably Punch Something)
Onion City Rumble is out. We regret nothing, except possibly the snack button.
Every great story starts with a problem. In Onion City, the problem is rent. It's due. It has been due. It will, in all likelihood, continue to be due long after the credits roll.
Our heroes have decided the only reasonable response to this is a citywide brawl. We did not try to talk them out of it.
What you can do
- Punch. Classic. Timeless. Recommended by zero landlords.
- Block. For when someone else had the same idea.
- Grab and throw. Crates, bins and, occasionally, your problems.
- Snack. Yes, there is a dedicated snack button. It is the most important button in the game. We will not be taking questions.
- Swap and PSI. Tag in your partner, or do something mysterious with your mind.
Why "Onion City"?
Because every good city has layers, and every good brawl ends with somebody crying. That's the official answer. The unofficial answer is that it sounded funny out loud.
"I came to Onion City to pay my rent. I stayed because a guy with a green mohawk threw a trash can at me." — a completely made-up resident
Grab a keyboard or a gamepad, find a friend for player two, and go settle your accounts the old-fashioned way.
